100 DAYS — THIS FAR THE LORD HAS HELPED US!
“Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
Yesterday, Vaarthai Evangelical Church reached a beautiful milestone — 100 days since our inauguration!
One hundred days may seem insignificant in the history of a church. But for us, they represent a journey of faith, obedience, prayer, service and, above all, God's faithfulness.
When Samuel looked back at how God had helped Israel, he raised a stone and called it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
Today, as the Vaarthai family, we can say the same.
We are grateful for every person who has prayed, served, given, encouraged and walked alongside us. Every small act of faithfulness matters.
But here's something I want us to remember:
We are not celebrating merely what we have accomplished in 100 days. We are celebrating what God has begun among us.
Paul reminds us:
“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
These 100 days are not the destination. They are only the beginning.
As we look ahead, may our desire remain the same
To Hear. To Live. To Carry.
May Vaarthai never become merely a place where people gather, but a community where God's Word transforms lives and His love reaches others.
The first 100 days remind us of His faithfulness. The days ahead invite us to greater faithfulness.
With gratitude and blessings,
Ps Weslyn
